The Foundation Plan
The Foundation High School Program is the base of your plan for graduation. Successfully completing this plan, the end-of-course exams and demonstrating proficiency in critical thinking and soft-skills are all requirements for graduation.
The Foundation Plan is made up of 22 credits in these areas:
Students are required to declare an endorsement in writing before entering 9th grade. This can be changed while in high school.
The Foundation Plan is made up of 22 credits in these areas:
- English 1, 2, 3 and one credit or two half credits from the English Options below.
- Algebra 1, Geometry and one credit or two half-credits from the Math Options below.
- Biology and two credits from the Science Options below.
- US History, Government/Economics and World History or World Geography.
- Two credits from any two LOTE levels or Computer Science below.
- One credit from the Health Fitness Options below.
- One credit from the Fine Arts Options below (subject to meeting prerequisites).
- Five Elective credits from your Endorsement or other area of choice.
